Eligibility Criteria
Two routes to register for CA Intermediate:
Route 1 — Foundation Route
Must have cleared CA Foundation conducted by ICAI
Must complete a minimum 8-month study period before the exam attempt
For May 2026 attempt: Registration deadline was September 1, 2025 (closed)
For September 2026 attempt: Registration deadline — February 1, 2026 (check ICAI portal)
For January 2027 attempt: Registration deadline — May 1, 2026 (upcoming)
Route 2 — Direct Entry (No Foundation Required)
Commerce graduates/postgraduates with 55%+ aggregate marks
Non-Commerce graduates/postgraduates with 60%+ aggregate marks
Students who cleared ICSI Intermediate (CS Executive) or ICMAI Intermediate (CMA Intermediate)
Direct entry students must also complete an Orientation Program (4 weeks) and IT Training (2 weeks) before Articleship
